As I’ve just returned from our Sakura Season Tour 2026, I can tell you that the magic of Japan in spring is even more breathtaking than the photos suggest. For 11 incredible days, I had the pleasure of leading a wonderful group through the heart of Japan, exploring everything from the neon-lit streets of Tokyo to the serene, ancient temples of Kyoto.

DAY 1-4: TOKYO’S VIBRANT BLOOMS AND MT. FUJI

Our journey began in Tokyo, where the modern skyline was softened by thousands of pink and white petals. We spent our first days exploring the city's diverse personality: from the world-famous Shibuya Crossing to the historic gardens where the sakura were at their absolute peak.

On Day 3, we escaped the city for a full-day tour of Mt. Fuji. While the mountain stayed hidden behind the clouds that day, the experience was still a highlight. Even though Mt. Fuji was hiding behind the clouds that day, the group still had an amazing time. We swapped mountain views for foodie adventures, trying delicious wagyu skewers and those famous, colorful Japanese strawberries! It just goes to show that with the right group, every day is a win.

DAY 5-7: THE ANCIENT SOUL OF KYOTO

After a smooth Shinkansen ride, we arrived in Kyoto, the cultural heart of Japan. This is where the sakura truly feel timeless. Strolling along a traditional Kyoto street lined with classic architecture, our group got to soak in the charm that makes this city so unforgettable.

Walking through the Gion district at dusk, we even caught glimpses of Geiko and Maiko moving between tea houses. Our itinerary is designed to give you the perfect blend of guided exploration and free time. Whether you wanted to find a hidden garden or enjoy a traditional tea ceremony, Kyoto offered a serene escape from the everyday.

DAY 8: FRIENDLY DEER AND THE JOURNEY TO OSAKA

En route to Osaka, we made a special stop in Nara. Our stroll toward Todai-ji was one of those moments that made everyone slow down and take it all in. The peaceful setting, the historic atmosphere, and the excitement of exploring Nara together made this stop a highlight for every traveler in our group.

THE GRAND FINALE: OSAKA HIGHLIGHTS AND A WAGYU FEAST

We saved the most delicious experience for last. On Day 10, our group enjoyed more of Osaka, including a memorable visit with the group at Osaka Castle before heading out for our farewell dinner.
